Vapor Cave Admission and Policies:
The Yampah Spa Vapor Caves are a naturally formed steam room in a cave created by the Yampah Hot Spring that flows through our cave formation.
All cave appointments are limited to two hours of admission. Reservations are always recommended as we do limit capacity. You must be 13 years of age or older to enter the vapor caves. Swimsuits are required to be worn at all times in the vapor caves. Two towels will be provided with your admission. Additional towels may be rented for $5.00 per towel. Common locker rooms and showers are available for your use while at Yampah.

Yampah Spa and Vapor Caves is a place of wellness, relaxation and wholeness. Please respect the sanctity of our historic landmark. The vapor caves are a quiet space for mediation and rejuvenation. Please refrain from speaking in the caves.
Please leave all belongings in your locker including jewelry and electronics as the vapor caves can damage these items quickly.
The Vapor Cave is a completely natural formation. There may be loose dirt, rocks or crystals on the floor, benches or walls of the cave. This is normal, it is natural, living cave formation. If you have any phobias related to dirt, caves, crystals or any underground phenomena we advise against visiting the vapor caves.
Any damage or vandalism to our facilities including the vapor caves, lockers, showers, restrooms or abuse of our team members will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate permanent trespass from Yampah Spa and Vapor Caves. Law enforcement will be called immediately, and property damages will be charged to the payment method on file for no less than $1,000.00. Anyone appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied entry. Anyone on property deemed intoxicated by our staff in any form will also be permanently trespassed and will not be given a refund in any form.
It is discouraged to use the Vapor Caves if you are pregnant of have any pre-existing medical condition that can be affected by steam rooms, saunas or high heat environments. We are not medical professionals so please consult your doctor before visiting Yampah Spa and Vapor Caves.
Glenwood Springs is located 5800 feet above sea level and altitude sickness is common amongst guests coming from lower elevations. If you are feeling the effects of altitude, please refrain from using the vapor caves. Consider using our aromatherapy oxygen therapy instead.
Age Requirements:
You must be 13 years of age or older to enter the vapor caves.
Any guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
You must be 18 years or older to participate in our massage and scrub services, no exceptions.
You must be 16 years or older to participate in our wrap and facial services.
If you are under the age of 18 and receiving a service a parent or legal guardian must be present and sign our service consent form. It is your responsibility to conform to this policy and cancellations due to this age requirement are subject to our cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy:
All spa appointments must be held with a valid credit card or gift certificate in the value of the services reserved. At the time of service, you may pay using a gift certificate or any spa accepted form of payment.
All appointments may be modified or cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice without charge or penalty. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be charged at the full price of the services booked. This policy is in place to ensure fairness to all our team members who rely on our guest’s attendance to live and make Yampah so sacred and special. We do not make exceptions to this policy.
Group bookings and service packages may be requested to be held with a 50-100% deposit in the form of a gift certificate to be purchased at the time of booking. Gift certificates used to hold a service package or group booking are non-refundable.
